Battle of the Bands

The Oxford DDA is NOW looking for local youth bands/performers (players under 18) to compete in our 2nd Annual Battle of the Bands, during Celebrate Oxford, in Centennial Park. The battle will be on Saturday, August 7, 2010 from 6pm to 9pm and all competitors will be provided with a professional sound system and engineer, plus a bass rig and drum kit (minus cymbals, snare, snare stand, and throne).

We will be doing auditions in the very near future for the acts unfamiliar to us.

The 1st and 2nd place finishers will get a paid spot at the last event of Concerts in Centennial Park on Thursday, August 26, 2010.
