Celebrate Oxford is Held Today August 7th 2010!!!

There are some great additions to the event this year.

The Taste of Oxford
Will be located in the Starbucks parking lot this year instead of Centennial Park.

The Classic Car Show
Ran by the Rotary Club, will be held in the SW parking lot as it has been in the past. Overflow will be held along Hudson Street and then go into the Village lot located across from the SW lot if necessary.

The Art & Exhibit Fair
Ran by the Oxford Woman's Club and will be located on W. Burdick street in the same location they were last year. Sponsored by Genisys Credit Union.

Kids Town!
Across M-24, on Burdick Street you will enter Kids Town. Throughout the day there will be a variety of acts all kid/family friendly related; from magician, dance school performances to cheerleaders, story tellers and puppeteers. 7 inflatable's - Sweet street, dunk tank, face painters and more!

Battle of the Bands!
Starts at 6 p.m. in the Kid's Town area. The public will determine the winner of this competition and the prize is the winning band will play the last concert - for the Concerts in the Park on August 27th and will be paid $300.

Antique/Craft Show
Located on East Burdick Street with an antique appraiser on site.

Student Art Show
For all Middle School and High school students. There is no charge for students to enter this competition and Johnston Photography is sponsoring this event! Awards and prizes will be given to the top 3 entries that will be picked by a group of artists chosen from around this area.

Business Expo
Located in SE parking lot close to Burdick street, giving business that participate more visibility and exposure. Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce.
